A Balanced Take on a Pleasant StayDuring my recent visit to the Royce, I found myself considering the delicate balance of luxury and value as an archaeologist accustomed to both high-end accommodations and budget options in my travels. Our room was on the 6th floor; While it was clean and the beds were comfortable, we faced a delay at check-in. This seemed to be a recurring theme for several guests, raising the question of adequacy in the housekeeping staff. The hotel’s proximity to the main road proved convenient. Parking was straightforward, with spaces right at the entrance, making arrivals hassle-free. Breakfast was decent but wouldn’t draw me back on its own; However, in-room catering had a diverse menu—albeit at premium prices. On the downside, we encountered a blocked toilet that hindered our shower access, and although maintenance was notified, help did not arrive. That said, the helpful staff and the cleanliness of the main foyer left a positive impression. Considering its amenities and location—close to both the mall and the airport—the Royce offers a blend of luxury and cost that may or may not be aligned with your specific travel budget.
